What a trip...

The flight was long and uncomfortable. We got next to no sleep - happy honeymoon!

However, a Pat Himes lookalike was along for the ride:

...well, actually it was a woman.

We landed and got all the customs and bus tickets taken care of. We missed the direct bus to Galway by around 2 minutes...so we caught the bus to ennis and raced to catch up. A couple of hours later, we arrived at the Galway bus station and began out half mile walk in pouring rain with loads of baggage - happy honeymoon!

We found the place, but nobody was home, so Eric left Kate with the bags to find a payphone. While Eric was gone, Kate got to meet a freaky wino who loved american women. Anyways, we were soaked and tired when Sorcha (SORKA), the caretaker of our home away from home rescued us.
